In a small Spanish town called Almoharín, a lovely guy called Kurro has a smallholding where campers can stay. We stayed for a few days to recharge our batteries. This is our stay at Kurro’s homestay in pictures.

Kurro’s Homestay In Pictures
We only stayed at Kurro’s place for three nights but left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Day One
We’d seen a homestay on P4N. At the gate was a phone number for Kurro. He told us the place was empty, but we were welcome to stay and could also use the little house.

We followed the driveway, parked up, and were welcomed by some chickens and a donkey.

We explored the little house…

…and met the cat.

Jolly hung the laundry out while Moo and I explored the gardens.

Moo introduced herself to the chickens…

…and rode her bike up and down the drive.

We felt very at home at the little farmhouse with the white picket fence.

As the day came to an end, everything glowed orange.

Day Two
The next morning, we started the day by feeding the chickens…

…and tried to make friends with the curious but shy donkey.

We found a tree bearing ONE giant orange…

…and tried to befriend the goth rooster.

Day Three
The next day was hot and sunny, and we were thankful to have a big garden to play in.

The resident peacock was more interested in us…

… and the chickens kept trying to get in the van.

As the day warmed up, Moo combated the heat by splashing through puddles…

…but we sheltered from the midday sun on the porch.

Kurro came over in the evenings to put the chickens to bed, and on the last evening, he took us to his friend’s farm to see some new-born lambs.

Our Highlights
After travelling for a few weeks, finding somewhere we could call home (even just for a few days) was so nice.
Although there was space for a few vans, we had the place to ourselves.
But above all, it was perfect to have a decent space for Moo to play and spend time in her pants.
